Lets help the Wounded Troops!

Well hope everyone is doing great this fine day! I just received my fenix281 bracelets and these things are just awesome! They look great, made out of parachute chord and come in all different colors. The cost is only around $12 and I liked them so much I bought 7 different colors. Best part about it is part of the money goes toward The Wounded Warrior Project. If you haven't heard about this project you need to check it out. Here are the links for the fenix281 bracelets and The Wounded Warrior Project. Lets help our troops get back on their feet!

Time for planning and some golf!

Well yes it is late again but I am up late because I was packing for my trip to Pinehurst in the am. I am going to be heading up to Pinehurst Country Club to research the area for the first ever golf tournament for OPS. And just happens to be at the site of the 2014 men's and women's US Open! Talk about history, this is the first time ever this is being done in the PGA. So it is awesome to have Pinehurst C.C. interested and possibly have the tournament at such a historic location. Check back in as I will be taking pictures of the courses and the famed Payne Stewart Statue that sits at the 18th green of the #2 course.

Leading the OPS Lifestyle

Here are some various older pics of me just cruising around leading the OPS lifestyle. Just click on the Title to take you to the pics. Enjoy

Pics with Military and Law Enforcement

Here are some older pictures from some of the visits with military and law enforcement people around the country! As I become a better blogger I will put some gallerys and cool things together. Well hope you enjoy!

The Beginning of the Journey!

You know they say a first impression is the last impression a person remembers you by. Well here I go for that attempt! I am a former major league player that is starting my own company for other professional athletes current and retired. I was looking into becoming a police officer after I was done playing because I have a huge passion for law enforcement and the military as you will find out! The only problem is I needed to find a second job to help me along the way until I was a little higher up the salary totem pole! (To all police officers and military personnel by the way- After doing this process and seeing the type of salary most LE/Military get for putting their life on the line everyday so we can enjoy our freedoms in this great country, I have a new found respect for you and I am in pursuit to help you out anyway I can through this company as well!)

My imagination started to take over and I was thinking what could I come up with that could keep me close to baseball, travel a little bit and be "my own company." So I started thinking what would have made my life easier and more organized when I was playing? See the point is when we would have an off day or be in a town that had some fun or cool things to do, there wasn't a "central hub" that we could tap into and get everything we had to get to go on that trip or find a place to eat or what have you. We would be searching through phone books, on the internet browsing for things to do and how to get there(not even knowing they are any good or not), calling buddies all over the country getting voice mails and playing phone tag. My little concept of starting this "central hub" has commenced!

Thinking at first this would be a little side gig I could do while I was fightin' crime sounded great, but this idea was starting to become a lot bigger than I imagined. After market research and idea after idea, Opulent Professional Services is born! There is a gap between agents and financial people for an athletes life. OPS is filling that gap by helping the day to day life to make an athletes life easier by helping him find amenities that might seem to be taken for granted or not even thought about until it is upon you. OPS is showing you the way to luxury and convenience!

As I touched on earlier, I am creating a program for LE/Military people so they could be able to do some of the finer things in life as well because they are the ones that deserve it the most! Athletes are always treated like celebrities where ever they go and given a lot of great things for free or a big discount. The men and women of the military and law enforcement are the celebrities and heroes in my eyes and I am creating this program so you too can get that celebrity treatment you most certainly deserve!

There are a few phases of OPS that will be coming out in stages as it is a long process to create the "ultimate central hub of networking." You can always check out the website also at www.opulentproservices.com and it will explain the OPS mission. So the journey of revolutionizing the athletic industry is beginning. Opulent Professional Services- Created for the athlete, by an athlete!
